Warren M. “Sonny” Daniels, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was born on April 10, 1932 in Niskayuna, NY and was the only child of the late Warren C. and Marjorie I. (Becker) Daniels. Warren lived in the Charlton area most of his life. He had a long and hard-working career in the trucking business and prided himself in the fact that he was the owner and operator of Warren Daniels Trucking. Warren loved cars and trucks, enjoyed racing stock cars in his younger years and was an avid Nascar fan. He was a past member and the Sergeant of Arms of the NYSSCA and also a past member of the Saratoga Automobile Association. Warren valued family above all else. His love and generosity for his family was a model for others to aspire to. His kindness and compassion for others is something that will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Warren is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn L. (Mills) Daniels. He was the loving father of Warren J. “Dan” (Donna) Daniels, David K. Daniels, Donald D. Daniels (Paula) and Carolyn M. (Jeremy) Lundy; grandfather “Pa Pa” of Warren Jr., Jonathan, Lana, Thomas, Donald Jr., Stephani, Kelley, Collin, Madison and Mason; great-grandfather of Warren III, Sabrina, Sophie, Owen, Charlotte, Arielle, McKenzee, Maddox, Vera and Isabella.
