Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara Roosevelt
Condolence: I'm having trouble finding the right words to say about Nancy. She was a wonderful mentor when I was getting into Labradors 30 years ago, and without her patience, wisdom, and guidance, I would have been lost. She knew more about Labs, from their health to their temperaments to their pedigrees, than anyone, and she generously shared that knowledge with all who asked. I always said she was one of the smartest women I knew, canine related or otherwise! She also had a great sense of humor which would shine when she was with her friend DIane Gering. Sisters couldn't be closer than those two were back in the day. I'm sure Diane was with Nancy's parents when they greeted her at heaven's door, and the two of them had a good laugh together as they played with their beloved Labs at the Rainbow Bridge. That would be a perfect ending to a life devoted to her parents, her friendships, and her passion for her favorite breed -- although a schipperke could also make an appearance:-).

I wish I could have been at the wake and service to tell you in person how much I admire and respect Nancy, but my husband just got out of the hospital after surgery and I had to be here to care for him. Both of us send our condolences and love, and we celebrate a life that made a difference to many, many dog lovers. Nancy was one in a million. We were lucky to know her. Yours, Barb Roosevelt

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was an amazing woman and such a friend to us when my husband, Dave was ill. They bonded over their joint pediatric backgrounds and their love of labs - especially Louie & JJ.
May God grant you eternal rest, Nancy!

Condolence: So sorry to hear this news, but glad that Nancy will have an audience of wonderful creatures awaiting her arrival. I would never have been so involved with Labs without her. They helped me through some challenging times and her friendship, wisdom and guidance were such great gifts. You could never doubt Nancy. There aren't too many as dedicated as she was. Concolences to her family. Will always think of her whenever passing White Rd.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was an amazing person and I am honored to have one of her labradors, 12-year-old “Brother Louis” AKA Louie, given to me by my father when he died. Nancy brought so much joy to so many through her spunky personality and wonderful dogs. May she Rest In Peace.

Condolence: This world has lost a great soul. Nancy was one of the smartest, strongest, most admirable women I've ever had the honor to know. For you, Nancy, I wish you an eternity of heavenly health surrounded by dogs and those who love dogs. Thank you for your advice, for your rare kind of honesty, and most of all, for your example. For your family and friends, your powerful spirit will surely surround them and help them heal.

Now off you go. Time to reunite with all your loved ones, both the 2 and 4 footed. They've been waiting for you.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She loved family, the environment, and pets...in no particular order. To say she cared is an understatement. So sad to see her disappear before our eyes. She has been and remains in our thoughts and prayers.
Blessings,
Ed n Lory

Condolence: RIP my dear friend. You were always there for anyone who needed. Loyal to a fault. Seeing you these last few visits was painful, now you are free and I know you will be welcomed by many four legged and two legged friends on the other side.

Condolence From: Nancy Fotre Wetsel
Condolence: My condolences to the family and prayers for peace and healing. I have such fond memories of Nancy as she helped me launch into the breeding of my Labrador girls. Her experience as a nurse was invaluable in this arena also. Always greeted you with a smile, always had time for everyone. Rest in peace, Nancy.
