Condolence: Please accept my sincerest condolences. May fond memories of your loved one comfort you during this difficult time. While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our Heavenly Father return your dear one to you. Luke 20:37, 38 Isa 26:19

Condolence: Mark, Missy's parents and family, you have been on my mind as I know you are missing your wife, daughter, relative very much. I only knew Missy from being a precinct chair in Dallas County. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for the conservative cause was contagious and a blessing. Thank you for sharing her with the Dallas County Republicans. I think her greatest gift was her desire to honor people for their hard work for the cause of freedom and liberty. It is a blessing to know that, although much too early from our perspective, Missy has now been recognized for her earthly service and heard her Lord say "Well done, my good and faithful servant." May she rest in peace and may you all know God's comfort in your loss.

Condolence: With sincere sympathy to the Shorey family. Death is hard to cope with. The Bible provides comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4; Ecclesiastes 9:5; Acts 24:15. Imagine a time in the future when those who have died will be brought back to life on earth. The Bible teaches this. Psalm 37:11; Revelation 21:3, 4.

Condolence: Marc & The Shorey Family,

I am sorry to hear of Missy's passing. I will always remember the fun we had in high school and how she prepared me for life at UF. She was kind to everyone she encountered and made the world a better place. I will keep your family in my prayers during this difficult time.

Condolence: My cousin has returned Home.

Unexpectedly, far too soon and at a moment chosen for reasons only she and her Creator can now know. My grandmother, who was called Home long before Missy, no doubt had a Homecoming prepared for Missy upon her arrival, a welcoming return to her Heavenly family. For those of you smiling at the thought of my grandmother in the kitchen again, I'm sure she had a lot of professional help up There.

The finest expression of condolence I can offer isn't original.
It comes from a letter General George C. Marshall used to keep in his DC office back in day. It was written by President Lincoln during a time when America was struggling. In it the President wrote:

"I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming ... I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost"

I'm sure Missy will have no problem with the President's sentiments: after all, he was a good republican, too.

May God in His infinite mercy provide you, as only He is
capable of doing, the care you need, especially in these
early days as you take your first steps forward in healing
from a loss so devastating as to be beyond any form of expression.
