Obituary for Linda Dubay-Fiebke (Dubay)

Linda M. Dubay-Fiebke, surrounded by loving family, died peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born in Keene Valley NY on November 7, 1947 to the late Harold and Madeline (Robare) Dubay. She grew up in Tahawus, NY.

Linda is survived by her dear children Michael (Catherine) Morehouse, Scott Morehouse, and Melissa (Michael) Schoonmaker. She was a devoted and loving mother. The loves and joys of her life who gave her life and energy just by being with them. She is also survived by her grandchildren Marissa, Eric, Everest, McKinley, Paxton, and great grandchildren Aiden and Lilianna. She will also be dearly missed by her late husband, Edward Fiebke’s children, Ted (Amy), Stella (Fred), Sarah, Emily, and Natalie. She leaves behind her siblings, Richard (Debi) Dubay, and Debra (Robert) Robitaille and her sister-in-law, Denise as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, great-nephews, and great nieces. So very special to her where her nieces, Rebekah and Anna Robitaille.

Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Robert Dubay.

Linda was a RN and spent most of her career at Albany Memorial Hospital. She loved nursing and her real love was working for St. Peter’s Hospice and Tidewell in Bradenton, FL. She was a real people person.

She loved walking, the Adirondacks, being out in nature, tenting, and picked up her love of camping later in life. She enjoyed country line dancing, singing music in the Folk Choir, reading, and the NBA Miami Heat – LeBron James!! Above all, she cherished spending time with family and dear, dear friends.

All are welcome to attend calling hours on Wednesday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21, Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.

A private funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home for the immediate family only and it can be viewed live or later on Linda’s Book of Memories on the funeral home website.

She will rest with her beloved husband in St. John’s Cemetery, Newcomb, NY. All are welcome to attend her graveside service at 1 PM on Thursday.
