Joseph A. Czub, age 48, died on Sunday, November 14, 2021 after injuries sustained in an accident at his home. He was born on January 12, 1973 in Niskayuna and was the son of James and Gloria (Rigali) Czub of Burnt Hills, New York.
Joe was a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, class of ’91. Following graduation, he began his career working as an automobile repair technician with his dad at the family business, Jim’s Sunoco. Eventually, he became employed as a mechanic at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District’s transportation department where he worked for over 18 years and was currently the Director of Transportation.
Joe was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, boat and snowmobile. He cherished time spent with his family and friends on beautiful Sacandaga Lake. He was a fix it kind of guy who enjoyed tinkering and always figured anything out.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife & soulmate, Tracy (Pischel) Czub; his sister, Tracy (Charlie) Huggins-Morris; niece and nephews, Sierra Huggins, Devin (Caroline) Collins and Dylan Collins; mother-in-law, Stephanie Pischel; sister-in-law, Sheri (Rob) Collins and best friend/cousin Chris Czub. He will be missed by his faithful & cherished girl, Danni, his “several brothers from other mothers”, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY. A service of remembrance will follow at 4:00 PM.
