Dateline: Niskayuna, NY

Jacob Johnson, age 24, passed tragically and suddenly on March 10, 2020 at his home. Jacob was born on May 10, 1995 in Jeannette, PA and was the son of Jeffrey and Lori Johnson.

Jacob was a homeschool graduate and attended Maryland Bible College and Seminary. Jacob worked at Cascade Drilling Company in Schenectady, NY. Jacob met his wife, Kayla Wade, at Camp Life and their relationship grew while in college. The couple married on June 3, 2017.

Jacob was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, and friend. Anyone who knew him knew his love and joy, and the way he cared deeply for each person that he crossed paths with. Jacob enjoyed spending time at home with his wife, drawing, and writing poems and books. He also liked spending time playing video games with his best friend Vaughn, as well as his brothers and other friends.

Jacob will be remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Kayla D. Johnson; his parents Jeffrey and Lori Johnson; his brothers, Caleb (Destiny McBurney), Joshua, and Benjamin Johnson; his grandparents, Lyle and Mimi Brumagin and Paul and Joan Johnson and his in-laws, Eric and Sherri Wade. Jacob also leaves behind several other extended family members and friends who will carry on his memory.

Jacob is preceded in death by his uncle, Dennis Brumagin.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 1:00pm at Greater Grace Church, 6025 Moravia Park Drive Baltimore, MD 21206.
