My condolences for the passing of your Mom. She was part of “The Greatest Generation.”
She always welcomed me whether it was Schenectady or Hadlock. May she RIP.

Condolence: Very sorry for the family, at the loss of your mother. She was always so friendly when I would spend time at the house or camp. Many fond memories. There is no greater loss, than the loss of your mother. Hugs to all of you. Especially, my old girlfriend, Carol.

Condolence From: Dennis & Patricia Chakas
Condolence: It was our privilege to know and work alongside Florence at Central Park Middle School. Her cheerful disposition, kindness, and interest in a variety of subjects made her a delightful friend and colleague. She will be missed by all who knew her. We wish we could pass on our sympathies in person. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Condolence From: Betsy Carl
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Florence. She was like an Aunt to me. I am so glad to have known her. It was in the late 40's or early 50's that she and Eddie and my parents became long lasting friends. My Mom and I use to go up to Schenectady in the fall to visit Florence and the rest of our family. We would stay at her house and she was a joy to be around. To all of Florence's family, you have been very blessed to have such a wonderful person in your life. God Bless, Betsy Carl, Lakeland, Fl.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Florence’s passing. She was such a lovely, classy lady. Howard has known her since Central Park Days where she “ran the school and kept the teachers in line”.

Condolence From: Francesca Parisi O’Connor
Condolence: My sincere condolences to all of Florence’s family.
Florence and my mother, Theresa Parisi worked at Central Park Middle School. As a student I remember Mrs. Poprawski as the nicest lady in the office. Always ready with a quick smile.
Later on I would visit my mother atCPMS and always stopped in the office to say hello to Florence.
She was a great friend to my mom. When I visited her at her home, Florence was always upbeat, happy to talk and always asked about my family.
I am so happy to have known her and will miss our talks and visits.

Condolence From: Lowell and Debi Caldwell
Condolence: Our deepest sympathies for the loss of a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Florence Poprawski. Special thoughts for our dear neighbor, Bob, as he and his children and grandchildren bear the sorrow of life without Florence. I am one of the grateful recipients of her beautiful knitted sweaters and will always remember her kindness when I wear it proudly. We will keep all of you in our hearts during this time of sadness and hope loving memories will hold you close to her forever.
