Carole E. (Rogers) Bailiff, age 77, passed away at Ellis Hospital on October 17, 2021. Carole was born in Albany, NY on October 24, 1943, to the late Russell and Barbara (Dashiell) Rogers.
Carole was a life-long area resident and attended Niskayuna High School graduating class of 1961. Following graduation, she studied at Russell Sage College and in 1965 began working for the New York Telephone Company. She worked as a service representative and then office manager until her retirement in 1995 after 30 years of service.
Carole was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Association of Bell Tel Retirees. Carole was also a long-time communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville, NY.
Carole is survived by her daughter, April (Jung) Park of Ballston Spa, NY; her stepsons Barry Bailiff of Malta, NY, James Bailiff of Phoenix, AZ and her grandchildren, Ashley LaMere, Morgan LaMere, Levi Park, Daniel Bailiff, Shawn Bailiff, Eric Bailiff, and Ginger Bailiff. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Carole is predeceased by her husband, Wesley Bailiff, grandson Douglas Bailiff and her brother Richard Paniccia.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 4:00-6:00pm at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY. Masks are required.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:00am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road, Scotia, NY. Per the family's request, masks are required.
Interment will follow in Pinegrove Cemetery, Charlton, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or The Red Cross.
