Obituary for Patricia A "Pat" Justin

Dateline: Ballston Spa, NY
Patricia (Pat) A. (Hirt) Justin, of Ballston Lake, passed away on July 11th after a short illness. She was born on October 27, 1954 in Niskayuna, NY and was the daughter of Carl A. Hirt and Shirley A. (Willey) Hirt.
After graduating from high school Pat began her career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, working first in Washington, DC and later in Albany. She was a natural when it came to working on computers. When she returned to the area, Pat worked as an administrative assistan for the Canadian company DRT, in Albany, NY, while raising two sons, Ryan and Nathan.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her sons, Ryan John Justin and Nathan James Justin, her mother and father, Carl and Shirley Hirt; two sisters, Cynthia A. Reynolds (Tom), and Linda A. Faulkner, and brother, Jeffrey A. Hirt (Kim); three nieces, Kelly and Christine McKenney, and Danielle Hirt and a nephew, Jonathan Hirt. Prior to her illness, she resided with her Aunt Marilyn in Loudonville where she helped with everyday activities. They became very close and she will be greatly missed by Marilyn.
Pat loved to read and play board games, including Scrabble. She also enjoyed Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy television game shows. Her family will greatly miss playing Words with Friends with her. She was an excellent player.
A memorial service will be announced and held later at Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, 816 Route 50, Burnt Hills, NY 12027.
Interment will be at Schenectady Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, 816 NY-50, Burnt Hills, NY 12027.
