Vicki Oudt, age 60, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. Vicki was born on September 9, 1956 in Schenectady, NY to Alfred and Beverly (Stephenson) Oudt.
Vicki was a graduate of Burnt Hills – Ballston Lake High School and attended Mohawk Valley Community College.
Vicki enjoyed so many aspects of life. She spent time living in Syracuse, Massachusetts and Iowa. She loved to travel and took as many trips as she could to her beloved Cape Cod, always taking time to admire the lighthouses.
While living in Syracuse, Vicki ran her own business collecting and recycling bottles and cans, an important cause to Vicki. She also volunteered at the local ASPCA making sure the feline residents always had enough treats and love.
Vicki enjoyed tennis and softball, but was especially passionate about bowling, where she was known to be a friendly yet competitive opponent
Vicki spent her last two and a half years living at the Baptist Rehabilitation Center in Scotia. She was a popular and well-loved resident.
Vicki is survived by her devoted mother Beverly, loving Brother Brad and sister in law Deborah, beloved nephew Matthew Oudt and niece Kaitlyn (Jon) Van Dyke and dear friends Annie Barrett and Gretchen Heilman.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at Townley and Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.
All are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11am at Zion Lutheran Church 153 Nott Terrace, Schenectady, NY 12308.
Pastor Shawn Dugan will preside.
Interment will be at a later date in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
